The once derelict farm is being transformed into a magnificent destination, with every detail crafted to offer an unforgettable escape. Haithwaite Farm will be the definition of rural luxury, where contemporary elegance meets the rugged beauty of the Cumbrian landscape.

Whether sampling our homemade spirits in the tap room, enjoying a flavoursome meal in the café or unwinding in the spa, the site will provide visitors with a slice of all the wonderful things that Cumbria has to offer.

Here’s a taste of what you can expect to find at Haithwaite Farm:

Our farm shop will be stocked with produce from local farmers, cheesemakers and artists, allowing visitors to purchase a variety of high-quality products, while also supporting local businesses.

Our cosy café will offer a range of delicious, yet simple, meals, snacks and drinks using fresh and seasonal local produce.

Our tap room will be the perfect place to enjoy a drink or two with friends and family. We’ll have plenty of our homemade gin and rum available to sample, as well as the usual firm favourites.

Our long-standing events, such as our spring and Christmas craft fairs, will be relocating from our sister location, Netherby Hall, to our new exhibition and event space. Having this area also means that we will be able to offer a wider variety of events.

The space at Haithwaite Farm means that we can expand the production of our homemade gin and rum even further, as well as offering distillery tours to visitors so that they can learn about the production process and sample some of our creations.

Two large accommodation units will be available at Haithwaite Farm, with one having four bedrooms and the other having three. This means we will be able to host larger groups, so the whole family or friendship group can join.

​

​

Although this will be a later addition to the site in 2027, our spa will provide visitors with the chance to relax and unwind in our calming, luxurious facilities. Every detail has been crafted with the surrounding countryside in mind, to make the best of the sensational views towards the Scottish Border.
